KC and Vivien’s Fantasy Wedding @ Ritz Carlton
For this wedding, we had an interesting time trying to figure out what are the key words for the look and it was a tuss-up between late winter or early spring look. Early spring look won the votes as Vivien had a very pretty leafy tree as an icon on all her stationery. Vivien was a very graphic bride and she was very hands on in designing all the artwork that was required, down to the packaging of the favours and the guest sign-in poster. With that fixed look, we just had to tie in the rest of the decorative elements with it.
The couple had also wanted the pre-function time to be activity filled, hence we planned the placement of a backdrop in the foyer that acted as a photowall for the ROM ceremony and phototaking thereafter. On the other side was a photo gallery of the couple’s pre- wedding photos. We had much fun working with ET Artisan Sweets to tie down the colours and look of the sweets corner, right down to selecting the shades of colours for the jelly beans and M&Ms. And of course, what is a fun wedding without an instant photo booth!
It was a very elegant and relaxed lunch reception and we were very moved by the couple’s love for each other, as well as for all the guests. KC also impressed his new Bride and the crowd with an Acapella rendition of I’m Yours. Everyone had a special connection to the couple and they spent the entire afternoon mingling and chatting with their guests.
